“Wherever in the Church, even in the most difficult and extreme fields, at the crossroads of ideologies, in the social trenches, there has been and there is confrontation between the burning exigencies of man and the perennial message of the Gospel. Here there have been, and there are, Jesuits."
Pope Benedict XVI echoing the words of Pope Paul VI.
We Jesuits find our identity not alone but in companionship, in companionship with Jesus who calls us and in companionship with others who share this call. We are priests and brothers collaborating with lay colleagues, working in Ireland and around the world to seek the reconciliation of humanity with God, with creation and reconciliation amongst peoples.
Spend some time exploring the Society of Jesus, or as we call ourselves, the Jesuits. You may come to this site knowing a lot about Jesuits; you may feel you know nothing. We do not intend to answer all your questions here but rather to give you a taste of who we are, how we live and how we serve the Church.
